A member of the U.S. Men’s National Team for more than a decade, Kevin is one of the most decorated goalkeepers in MLS history. Kevin amassed the most victories of any goalkeeper in the league’s history with 179. He also recorded the most career clean sheets, and he was the first MLS goalkeeper to have consecutive 20-win seasons. Kevin began his career in 1997 after being drafted by the LA Galaxy, where he played for ten years, followed by stints with the Kansas City Wizards, FC Dallas and New York Red Bulls.
He was twice named MLS Humanitarian of the Year (2005 and 2008). Kevin also excelled collegiately while playing for UCLA. Even while playing, he was actively involved in coaching youth athletes. Since his retirement from playing, Kevin has focused heavily on coach and player development. He also occasionally serves a color analyst role for several MLS teams, which helps him stay connected to the professional game.
Kevin is the Director of Goalkeeping at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida.
