In 2014, Sam graduated from Grove City College with a degree in English and concentrations in business and legal studies. She was a member of the women’s soccer team and led her team in goals her sophomore and junior years while also helping the team make program history at the NCAA tournament in 2012.
At 19, Sam had her first startup idea while visiting her sister (Founder & CEO of @Foodspotting) in San Francisco. Back then, she knew absolutely nothing about business — she was just an English major with a vision of what she wanted the college athletic recruiting process to look like. In 2014, ProfilePasser went on to be named to Inc. Magazine’s Top 4 list of Coolest College Startups in America.
Sam is passionate about branding, marketing, and creating more opportunities for female soccer players to stay engaged with the game throughout their careers. In addition to leading her own startup, Sam is helping several professional players build meaningful businesses that create value, drive revenue, and give back to the community.
